In 1984, Dr. Réjean Thomas founded Clinique l'Actuel, Canada’s first STI clinic, with fellow doctors Michel Marchand, Sylvie Ratelle and Alain Campbell. In 1987, he opened Clinique l'Actuel with Drs. Michel Marchand, Suzanne Côté and Clément Olivier. Over the years, thanks to the continued support of doctors who are passionate about their work, Clinique l'Actuel, a true pioneer in enhancing our knowledge of STBBIs and HIV/AIDS, has grown into a top-notch facility for training numerous health care professionals who now practice throughout the greater Montreal region, as well as beyond Quebec and outside Canada.
